SI Swim Rookie Achieng Agutu Is Simply Breathtaking in a Magenta Bikini While Posing on a Yacht in Mexico

The model and Swim Search co-winner, who is set to make her debut in this May’s magazine, stunned on her latest vacation.

Achieng Agutu is celebrating her rookie reveal with a trip to Cancun, Mexico, the exact city she was photographed in for her 2014 SI Swimsuit rookie photo shoot.

The 2023 Swim Search co-winner turned heads in a stunning metallic magenta bikini, and served major main character energy. The Kenya-born model, who now lives in New York City, posed on the side deck of a beautiful yacht in front of marvelous blue waters. She showed off her curves, flawless skin, impeccable posing skills and palpable confidence.

“Like yall just had to be there!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!! 10 slides are just not enoughhhhhhhhh ahhhh! Anywhooooooo, here is a lil vibe dump from the best weekend ever! Shout out to @wilgloryy & @anima.iris for an absolutely DELICIOUS weekend!!!!!!” Agutu captioned a breathtaking Instagram carousel that she shared with her 807,000 Instagram followers.

Agutu is set to appear in May’s 60th anniversary SI Swimsuit Issue.

“My story is being told on this platform, [and] it’s so reassuring to me that my story is worthy of being listened to and celebrated,” she gushed while on location in Mexico with photographer Yu Tsai. “There’s been a lot of women who have reached out to me since I announced that I was going to be a [2024 SI Swimsuit] rookie who have just said like, ‘You don’t understand how huge this is for us, you don’t understand how special this is for us to see someone who looks like us in the pages of SI [Swimsuit]. I think it’s kind of full circle for me to see all the work I’ve done getting to a point where it’s helping someone.”
