When we took Hannah Ferguson, Sara Sampaio, Ariel Meredith and Ashley Smith on a road trip for the ages, along iconic Route 66, we knew we were in for an adventure. We encountered the kindest locals you've ever met at pool halls, gas stations, barbecue restaurants and beyond. And we experienced the kitschy shops, movie-worthy diners, and neon signs galore that the region is known for. (Heck, we even made friends with the wild burros roaming the streets in Oatman, Arizona.)
