BEING AN editor atSI Swimsuit means exotic places, fresh fashions and an ever-growing list of must-haves. This week we’re letting you in on some of our favorite trends for spring! From bohemian to preppy to rocker-chic, here's how we're making this spring a fashionable one.

Alyssa Conroy, Editorial Assistant: The Boho Look

Since moving to NYC, I have come down with the NYC fashion bug. It consists of having a closet only containing black, shades of gray and black. I love it, I do—but black and warmer weather do not mix, so I'm using spring as an excuse to get back to my love of all things bohemian.. The amazing pants by Lovers & Friends are perfect for a spring time brunch (Kendall Jenner wore them here) , the gorgeous Vanessa Mooney x For Love & Lemons necklace is a perfect layering piece, and this jumpsuit by Dolce Vita just kills it.

Janine Berey, Assistant Editor: Maxi Dresses

So excited that it's that time of year again, especially after the brutal winter NYC had. The weather is finally nice and I cannot wait to break out my favorite springtime trend: the maxi dress. They are super simple and easy to throw on when you are in a rush. You can dress them up and dress them down, which makes them my top pick for the season.

It’s spring! Finally! This makes most people think of pastels, floral prints and showing some (admittedly pale) skin. Not I. All I want for my spring wardrobe is a fabulous leather jacket. Why not dull down a sunny, blooming spring with the tough black wardrobe staple? I prefer the waist length version, but there are tons of gorgeous cropped jackets available right now, but I need to be practical because spring for me means motorcycle season, so real leather, real length and real fashion are top priority.

I haven't had time to do much shopping in between finishing the 2014 issue and gearing up to shoot the 2015 issue, but if I did, I would totally be all over that pretty, pale pleated look that’s going on right now. I love it and it truly speaks spring and sunshine to me!
