SI Swimsuit Rookie Sixtine Rouyre’s 10 Favorite Swimsuit Brands As a Size 10

The model has detailed her search for the perfect fit in a TikTok series.

SI Swimsuit rookie Sixtine Rouyre is an expert at finding midsize swimsuits. In March 2021, she posted a TikTok inquiring about swimsuit suggestions for a size 10 curvy girl.

“I feel like being my size, it’s nearly impossible to find swimsuits that look good on me because they are either way too small and skimpy, or they just cover everything and don’t really flatter me,” she explained at the time. “All of this has inspired me to start a series where I try to find the perfect swimsuit. If you have any recommendations, let me know. I’m going to be trying on a lot.”

Rouyre began ordering swimsuits that were widely suggested in her comments and made videos showing how they fit, along with pros and cons of each. That’s how the Swimsuit Series began. Today, the 25-year-old has amassed nearly 900,000 followers across TikTok and Instagram and has built her brand around being a body neutrality influencer.

Rouyre admits that she owns around 70 swimsuits now, all compressed into an approximately 20-pound bin.

“I kind of became known for swimsuits, which is like a full-circle moment for me to be shooting for Sports Illustrated Swimsuit,” she says, adding that being in a swimsuit in front of a camera was something that became empowering over time. “The Swimsuit Series honestly helped me get more confident in a way that I didn’t anticipate.”

Below are the results of Rouyre’s six-month-long research project: 10 of her favorite swimsuit brands as a size 10.

437

“These swimsuits are buttery soft and super comfortable,” Rouyre says. “A lot of their suits are made from a stretchy, almost seamless material, so they fit most body types quite well. My favorite is the Kenzie top ($85) paired with the Aubrey bottoms ($75).”

Londre Bodywear

Rouyre describes Londre as an “amazing brand with incredible sustainability goals in place.” Each swimsuit is made from recycled plastic bottles and most pieces are available up to size 5XL.

“I am actually in the process of collaborating with this brand on a new suit set to release late spring,” Rouyre adds. “I couldn’t be more excited to work with such a great brand.”

Nessy Swimwear

This small business was created by designer Vanessa Sanchez after she found herself struggling to find a swimsuit for her curvy body. Rouyre notes that their size range is great, and they have tons of cute styles.

Monday Swimwear

Rouyre says these swimsuits are great quality, and though they’re on the pricier side, they make her feel very “luxurious.”

“Their swimsuits are really comfy as well [as] form-fitting without feeling like you’re spilling out of the suit,” she adds. “They also have some great donation initiatives in place.”

Frankies Bikinis

Not only does Rouyre love Frankies Bikinis’ swimsuits, but she also likes their selection of cover-ups.

“They have a great mix of skimpy suits and more full-coverage suits,” she notes.

Aerie

Rouyre “will always be a fan of the classic” Aerie swimsuit. She adds that the brand has a ton of high-coverage options, and the material is notably stretchy and soft.

Goldie Swimwear

Rouyre says Goldie Swimwear is the best affordable option for swimsuits. She thinks its sizing could be expanded but adds that the brand has exceptional styles and prints.

TA3 Swim

This brand creates sculpting swimsuits that are “so good” that Rouyre often wears them as bodysuits.

Kitty and Vibe

“[These] bikinis [are] based on your butt size, which I don’t think any other brand is doing,” Rouyre says. “[They have] a great size range for larger busts, as well.”

Cupshe

Rouyre loves the Cupshe one-piece swimsuits and mentions that the brand has lots of affordable options in a wide range of sizes.
