Sixtine Channels Mother Nature in These 5 Pics From Dominica

The body neutrality influencer was featured as a rookie in the 2023 SI Swimsuit Issue.

As a rookie in the 2023 SI Swimsuit Issue, Sixtine traveled to Dominica alongside photographer Yu Tsai for her feature. While in the Caribbean country, she donned several Mother Nature-inspired swimsuits, from natural, organic textures to a giant leaf fashioned into a swimsuit.

In addition to her work in the modeling industry, the 26-year-old body neutrality influencer is known for her social media content in which she promotes the notion that what our bodies do for us is much more important than what they look like. Outside of the SI Swimsuit Issue, Sixine has collaborated with notable brands like Aerie, Ulta and SKIMS.

Of the incredible looks she modeled while on location, two in particular stuck out as favorites of Sixtine’s: a neutral-colored, shell-adorned bikini and the aforementioned leaf swimsuit by MilkBaby Bikini.

“I had this one-piece swimsuit that was kind of fishnet-y with shells all over it, and it just fit me so well,” she said. While she hadn’t tried the suit on during her fitting, it ended up being one of her favorite looks of the day.

“It had straps and everything, but from the front, it just looks like I was wearing a giant palm leaf,” Sixtine added of the leaf suit. “So that was really fun because most swimsuits are just like on the more basic level, a couple fancy straps here and there. But that one, I was just like, ‘That’s cool.’”
