Influencer Sixtine Served Major Mother Nature Vibes During Her SI Swim Photo Shoot in Dominica

The body neutrality TikTok sensation was photographed by Yu Tsai for her magazine feature last year.

Social media star Sixtine made her SI Swimsuit debut in the breathtaking Caribbean island country Dominica with photographer Yu Tsai last year. The TikTok sensation, who uses her platform to share her ideas on body neutrality, absolutely took our breath away during her rookie feature.

The Belgium-born, Texas native donned the most gorgeous earthy bikinis and one-pieces, and even rocked natural-made materials, when she posed in just a large leaf and seashells. The 26-year-old has previously starred in campaigns for major brands including Warby Parker, Ulta, SKIMS and Aerie, and recently launched a line of lingerie with Ardene. 

“I don’t want to be just another pretty face on a billboard that’s been Photoshopped to the nines. I really want people to [feel represented] and I want someone to say, ‘Oh, well that girl is not a standard size 0, 5'11" model, she looks like me. She has the same body as me,’” Sixtine said about what she hopes people will take away from her SI Swimsuit feature. “I think it’s important that people get that representation in [the] media so that they don’t feel this heavy pressure to be something that nobody is. Nobody looks like the girls in the magazine—even the girls in the magazine don’t look like the girls in the magazine because there’s so much that goes into it. So I hope people see themselves.”
