With the conclusion of the US Open at the beginning of September, the Grand Slam season officially came to a close for the year. Since then, professional tennis players have been enjoying a well-deserved break before the tour ramps up again. With majors consuming the summer months, their fall time off calls for trips to far-flung locations in search of the beach and pool time they missed out on while on the courts.

Among those taking in some belated relaxation time in the sun is American tennis player Sloane Stephens. The athlete is currently enjoying some R&R among the verdant green palms of an undisclosed tropical location. The 30-year-old shared a carousel of photos from an afternoon in the pool to her Instagram on Oct. 10. She wore a chic zebra print one-piece bikini and a wide-brimmed tan visor.

“This is the peace that you cannot buy 🧘🏾‍♀️,” she captioned the photos from her dip in the idyllic tropical pool. Her followers, much like us, were in full support of the athlete’s scenic trip.

“enjoy your well deserved time off Sloane,” one follower kindly wrote in the comment section.

“Girl I need a vacation like that,” another quipped.

“Beautiful,” one added.

With the first Grand Slam of the 2024 season, the Australian Open, taking place in January, Stephens will presumably be out of the pool and back on the court very soon to start preparations for another hard-fought year of professional play. We’re always down to cheer the star on—whether in her vacation attire or on the court.
