Meet your 2015 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue Rookies: No. 3 Rose Bertram

The fun continues with Rookie Reveal No. 3...

In a sense, Rose Bertram represents the beginning and the end of the Swim 2015 process. As our very first 2015 Casting Call candidate waaay back in March, nearly 60 other candidates would come through the offices in the months that followed. But we never forgot the girl with the blonde curls and green eyes, ultimately booking her for our final shoot of the issue, shot in early December. Rose, 20, lives in Paris but hails from Belgium where she every now and then succumbs to her homeland's greatest temptation: the street food.

When I started eating healthy, for modeling, I didn’t think about eating waffles anymore. Not long ago I went back and I ate one and I’m like, damn, they’re actually really good. So are the fries. It’s typical in Belgium that wherever you go, all the restaurants sell fries. Belgian people go there every Sunday to eat fries. You appreciate what you have once you’ve left.
