Supermodel Paulina Porizkova Turns 59, Celebrates in Her Birthday Suit

Happy (belated) birthday, Paulina Porizkova! The 10-time SI Swimsuit star turned 59 on Tuesday, April 9, and celebrated by sharing a photograph of herself in her birthday suit on Instagram.

She sat perched on the side of a bed with a sheet wrapped around her lower half as she grinned for the camera. The author also shared an inspirational message about how she’s fully embracing her current stage of life in her caption.

“One last year of being in my fifties,” Porizkova wrote. “It’s been the worst, most difficult, and also illuminating decade of my life. I’m proud to have reached level 59! And I will keep being proud with every level I stack up in this game of life. At 59, I have never felt better in my well-worn skin.”

Plenty of Porizkova’s 1.1 million followers chimed in to the comments section to wish her well on her special day.

To that note, Porizkova stated in her caption that she hopes her many fans and followers can one day feel as free and confident in their own skin as she does today.

“For those of you who will invariably lecture me on age and nudity, rest assured - it’s taken me 59 years to feel this confident and free of shame, and I wish the same for you.❤️,” she wrote.
