Swim Search Finalist Erin Willerton Dazzled in These 6 Photos in the Bahamas
As a 2019 Swim Search finalist, Erin Willerton had the opportunity to travel to the Bahamas, where she participated in a photoshoot with visual artist Yu Tsai.
She posed on the beach in Paradise Island, and the images captured during her shoreline photoshoot were nothing short of breathtaking. Not only that, but the British model revealed that taking part in the SI Swimsuit open casting call changed her life in incredible ways.
“I feel as though I have really found what makes me happy and ignited a confidence that I had lost somewhere in my teen years,” she admitted. “Being a student from the U.K., I had always dreamed about an opportunity like it. However I didn’t even have a modeling agency before. The notion of an ‘open’ casting is very important because it means that truly anyone can take part!”
Since participating in the Swim Search four years ago, Willerton has continued to model, and she regularly shares her editorial campaigns on Instagram. In addition to her work in the industry, she has a philosophy degree and is the co-founder of Rybas, an online jewelry brand. As for tackling the modeling industry and her education at once, Willerton was adamant about pursuing both at the same time.
“A degree is something that I will have forever and was always important to me—however, the last year has offered me so many incredible modeling opportunities, too,” she shared at the time of her photoshoot. “So instead of picking one or the other, I decided to work as hard as I could at both!”
