Tanaye White is a Game-Changer in SI Swim 2021

The 2020 Swim Search winner is beautiful, brilliant and humble.

While Tanaye White certainly knows how to work a camera lens, the first rookie of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit’s 2021 issue is more about being authentic. Her social media accounts are filled with a blend of modeling shots and the not-so-pretty sides of life. The former defense industry businesswoman uses the #LetsGetReal hashtag to share messages of female empowerment and wants to encourage women to be the most authentic version of themselves. White, who competed as a long jumper in high school and college, also enjoys staying fit with yoga and cardio and is quick to share her healthy lifestyle tips, too.

MJ Day: Why Tanaye?

Tanaye is a force to be reckoned with. Beautiful, brilliant, humble and hardworking, she’s accomplished so much on her own and is a prime example of what can happen when you unapologetically pursue your dreams. Hence, winning last year’s Swim Search. 2021 will be a game-changer for Tanaye as she takes the next step in her modeling career as an official rookie in SI Swimsuit and as an advocate for representation.
