These 4 Swimsuit Photos of Irina Shayk in Chile Are Unbelievable

The model’s fourth of 10 SI Swimsuit magazine features was one for the books.

Model Irina Shayk has a storied past with the SI Swimsuit Issue. Between 2007 and 2016, the model made an appearance on the pages—or the cover—of the annual issue every single year. On the 50th anniversary of the historic publication, the 38-year-old was one of the handful of SI Swimsuit legends to return to the set of the magazine for a photo shoot recognizing their importance to the brand.

While there is not one of her photo shoots more or less spectacular than the next, there are a few that we just keep coming back to time and time again. Among them was Shayk’s 2010 trip to Atacama Desert, Chile, where she posed for a handful of absolutely incredible photos in front of photographer Raphael Mazzucco’s lens, who she worked with a couple of times throughout her 10-year stint in the issue.

Like all of her other features, Shayk was as beautiful and as poised in front of the camera as ever. But there was just a certain something about the wide open space of the desert, the beautiful stark blue sky and the mountains receding into the background that made this photo shoot more unique than most.

It was her fourth brand feature and very far from her last, and we couldn’t have asked for a better one. Today, we’re taking it back to that utterly idyllic trip. Here are a few snaps from her time in Chile.
