Kate Upton made her SI Swimsuit debut in 2011 when she won Rookie of the Year and double dipped for a beach feature in the Philippines with Raphael Mazzucco and another in-studio bodypaint spread with photographer Stewart Shining and artist Joanne Gair. The supermodel is best known for her multiple magazine covers with the brand. She landed on the front of back-to-back issues in 2012 and ’13, after posing in Australia with Walter Iooss Jr. and Antarctica with Derek Kettela, respectively.

Upton is no stranger to the “anything for the shot” mentality. In 2014, she stunned in a zero gravity photoshoot with James Macari in Cape Canaveral. The 31-year-old then landed her third SI Swimsuit cover in 2017 after being captured in Fiji.

Her most recent photoshoot with the brand was in 2018 with photographer Yu Tsai in Aruba. Upton welcomed her daughter, Genevieve, whom she shares with her husband, MLB professional Justin Verlander, later that year.

“Those are the campaigns I want to do and the career I want to have—to inspire women to love themselves,” the Michigan native said of her six separate years working with SI Swimsuit. “That’s a balance of working hard and eating healthy but also enjoying life and having cheat days and for the emphasis not to be on the ideal perfect body. It makes me proud to be asked back.”

Below are six of our favorite photo of Upton in zero gravity at Cape Canaveral.
