Supermodel Gigi Hadid made her SI Swimsuit debut in 2014, when she traveled to the Jersey Shore and was captured by Ben Watts. The 28-year-old, who is currently rumored to be dating actor Bradley Cooper, returned to the fold the following year, and worked with visual artist Yu Tsai in Kauai, Hawai’i. For her third, and most recent feature with the brand, the Los Angeles native, who is of Palestinian and Dutch descent, reunited with the photographer on the Islands of Tahiti for a breathtaking, summery beach shoot.

The Guest in Residence elevated knit clothing brand founder and host of Netflix’s reality competition series Next in Fashion keeps herself busy with her jobs and traveling for global fashion weeks and modeling campaign gigs. Her main priority, however, is her 3-year-old daughter, Khai, whom she shares with ex-boyfriend and singer Zayn Malik.

“I think when you are a parent, you have to be intentional, because now, I literally have half the time. I work when my daughter is with her dad, and that’s the time I have. And the jobs I choose to fill that time with have to be ones that are fulfilling to me. I will literally fit in as many jobs as I can on those days. I’m sometimes a crazy person, but if it means a lot to me, then I do it,” she said about having the luxury of choosing to take on new jobs at this stage of her career. “I’ve seen so many photos of myself. There’s no need to go do an editorial if I feel like it’s a waste of everyone’s time. I want to do things that are new and feel exciting; where everyone is going to leave feeling fulfilled and that they did something fun that day.”
