These 8 Photos of Vita Sidorkina in Nevis are Absolutely Unreal

The three-time SI Swim model made a splash in her sophomore shoot.

In 2018 and in her second photoshoot with Sports Illustrated Swimsuit, the talented Vita Sidorkina made her way to Nevis with photographer Josie Clough. She had made her debut the year prior in Curaçao alongside photographer Ben Watts.

While posing along the white sand beaches and in the clear blue waters of the tropical island, the Russian model expressed both surprise and delight at the opportunity to work with a female photographer. “It was my first time working with Josie,” the model said on set in the Caribbean. It’s “very rare for a woman photographer to shoot such sexy pictures,” she continued jokingly.

The 29-year-old loved Clough’s style and appreciated the balance of both instruction and freedom that she afforded the seasoned model.

“She gives you direction, but she’s not on top of you, she still gives you that freedom,” the model said praisingly of Clough. “I think it’s definitely a thin line for the photographer to not overdo it. I think it definitely helps that she knows what she wants, but in the meantime I feel like she trusts me [and] what I’m doing.”

She definitely proved that she was worth trusting in her Nevis shoot, posing expertly for a series of absolutely gorgeous photos.

Since those first two shoots, Sidorkina has made one other appearance in the Swim issue, shooting a series of Western-inspired snaps with Ruven Afanador in Wyoming in 2020.
