At just 26, Tori Praver has conquered the swimsuit industry. She was discovered while shopping with her mom at age 13. She signed a Guess contract at 17. By 22, she had appeared in three SI Swimsuit issues. And now a few months after her 26th birthday, she owns and runs one of the most world's popular swimsuit brands. It was during her second year shooting for Sports Illustrated, however, when she realized she could be more than just a model. "Creating my own brand of swimwear was always a dream of mine but something I didn't see happening until much later in life," Praver recalls. "The year I started my company was my second year in appearing in SI Swimsuit. I had told [then-swimsuit editor] Diane Smith about my idea to start my own brand on the set of a shoot. She really inspired me to start now instead of waiting until later."

The advice paid off as celebrities such as Jessica Alba, Megan Fox, Vanessa Hudgens, Leann Rhimes and Marisa Miller have strutted around the beach in a Tori Praver original.  She continues to expand her designs and staying on the cutting edge. "I strive to make each piece I design unique. I'm a bit of a perfectionist and always continue to change and tweak pieces," Praver says. "Being different is very important to me and something that I always have in mind." The company will soon launch its first ready to wear collection and introduce new macrame styles. And Praver recently took on her biggest project, motherhood, with the birth of her daughter last May.

Tori Praver: Being associated with one of the most iconic sports/bikini magazines in the world could not be more exciting. Being a younger desgner and viewing the last 50 years of the most beautiful women in the world is something to be a part of!
