Lucia Dvorska was photographed by Yu Tsai in Cappadocia, Turkey.

Slovak model Lucia Dvorska posed for photographer Yu Tsai in the magnificent city of Cappadocia, Turkey, and was featured in the SI Swimsuit magazine in 2009. The beauty pageant titleholder entered the industry as a child, and starred in a few television commercials early on. When she was 16, she transitioned to modeling and was a contestant on reality TV series A Model Life hosted by Petra Nemcova, a fellow SI Swimsuit model and 2003 cover girl. Dvorska won a $100,000 contract with Next Agency as a result of winning the 2007 season of the TLC show.

The 35-year-old has since been featured in campaigns for several major brands and had graced the cover of Vogue Brazil.

“I don’t have any story that somebody found me on the street,” Dvorska explained  about how she began her career as a model “I just came to an agency, knocked on the door, [asked] ‘Can I be a model?’ [and they said] ‘Yeah, sure!’ and then I started to travel and model until now and I love it.”

Cappadocia, a historical and semi-arid region located in Central Anatolia, Turkey, is known for its signature “fairy chimney” and tall, cone-shaped rock formations clustered in parts of the city. Dvorska’s photoshoot was styled in a unique and specific way to match the moody and antique vibes of the town’s architecture.

She rocked a series of fun and bold prints while on location. Below are five of our favorite photos from her 2009 SI Swimsuit photoshoot with Yu Tsai.
