We’re Living for This SI Swim Throwback of Rose Bertram in Tahiti

The Belgian model shared a clip from her 2016 photoshoot with her TikTok followers.

Rose Bertram first appeared in the pages of the SI Swimsuit Issue in 2015, when the rookie double-dipped for an idyllic feature along the beach in the U.S. Virgin Islands with photographer Yu Tsai. She also participated in a bodypaint photoshoot alongside makeup artist Joanne Gair in the same location.

When she returned to the fold the following year, her work took her to Tahiti, where she again posed in front of Yu Tsai’s lens. Her third year with the magazine, Bertam worked with Ben Watts in Curaçao. While we’d be hard pressed to pick a favorite of Bertram’s three SI Swimsuit Issue features, her 2016 photoshoot in French Polynesia holds a special place in our heart.

It clearly does for the 28-year-old mom of two, as well. Bertram shared a throwback of footage from her 2016 SI Swimsuit photoshoot on TikTok earlier this week. In the video, the Belgian model donned a white string bikini by Tori Praver Swimwear and a gold bodychain as she stood in waist-deep water. She had a fresh white flower tucked behind one ear and wore her hair in natural curls.

“When your @SI Swimsuit throwback videos remind you of the @Tyla water song 🌸🌺 these were shot in BoraBora 🫶🏽,” Bertram noted in her caption of the trending TikTok audio.

“best sports illustrated shoot ever .. you need to run it back rose asap 😝💙,” one of the model’s 66,000 followers commented.
