Where Are They Now: Judit Masco
You may remember Judit Masco from the cover of the 1990 Swimsuit Issue, the magazine that launched us into what would become the iconic 90’s. The then 20-year-old Barcelona-born beauty was featured sporting a bright yellow tankini, thus kicking off her career as an international supermodel.
Following her appearance in SI Swim, Judit landed high-profile campaigns such as Max Mara and walked the runways of Dolce & Gabbana, Valentino, Armani and Carolina Herrera, to name just a few.
Back in 2000, long before Kim Kardashian West made freeing wrongfully convicted prisoners cool, Judit brought media attention to Joaquin José Martínez who was on death row for two murders he did not commit. The Florida Supreme Court overturned his original conviction and ordered a new trial. He was later acquitted of all charges. Masco went on to be named Elle magazine’s Woman of the Year in 2003 for her activism.
Fast forward 30 years and the model turned momma is still repping her cover model status in her Instagram bio. A few scrolls down her feed and you’ll see career highlights, various yoga poses and her super cute four-legged friend!
