Winnie Harlow’s 8 Best SI Swim Photos in the Bahamas

The 2019 SI Swimsuit Issue star took the beach by storm in the Caribbean.

Winnie Harlow posed for the 2019 SI Swimsuit Issue when she traveled to the Bahamas with photographer Laretta Houston. The 29-year-old was first discovered five years earlier during the 21st cycle of America’s Next Top Model, and Harlow recently admitted that after her experience on the reality show, she nearly left the industry.

“After coming off the show, I was actually going to quit modeling,” she told Highsnobiety magazine. “I was going to go back to school for journalism.”

Harlow went on to share that after landing a Diesel campaign shortly thereafter, she realized she was meant for modeling, and the rest is history. The Cay Skin founder and runway star has since collaborated with brands like Steve Madden, Victoria’s Secret and Marc Jacobs. We’re so glad Harlow stuck with her passion, which later led her to travel to Great Exuma for the SI Swimsuit Issue.

“Being able to say that I am in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue is an absolute dream that I never thought would come true,” Harlow said at the time of her feature.

Below are eight of our favorite dreamy pics Houston captured of the model in the Caribbean.
