Minnesota native Haley Kalil made her SI Swimsuit debut in 2018 as a part of the first-ever open casting call. She was named the co-winner alongside fellow SI Swimsuit model Camille Kostek. Haley is best known outside of the magazine for her work as Miss Minnesota and as an outspoken advocate for body positivity. Haley is also a self-proclaimed nerd who studied biomedical sciences and psychology in college. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from the honors college with a 4.0 major GPA and volunteered at the local hospital and in an immunology lab during that time.
