Toronto native Lauren Chan set foot on an SI Swimsuit set for the first time in 2023. She came to the brand as a model, fashion editor and entrepreneur. The size-inclusion advocate began her career with Ford Models in New York City, while working as a fashion writer for outlets like Vogue and Interview. Several years later, she went on to become the fashion features editor at Glamour, where she focused on a plus-size fashion beat and designed a clothing collection with Lane Bryant.

Now, having established herself more in her modeling career, she is returning to her editorial roots, working as a broadcaster and host on Canadian programs like The Social, CityLine, and eTalk and engaging in philanthropic work with It Gets Better, supporting LGBTQ+ Youth across Canada and the U.S.

For her third consecutive feature, Chan travels to Bermuda to pose for photographer Ben Watts. Her images will appear in the 2025 magazine out this May.
