Lauren Chan

Toronto native Lauren Chan set foot on an SI Swimsuit set for the first time in 2023. She came to the brand as a model, fashion editor and entrepreneur. The size-inclusion advocate began her career with Ford Models in New York City, while working as a fashion writer for outlets like Vogue and Interview. Several years later, she went on to become the fashion features editor at Glamour, where she focused on a plus-size fashion beat and designed a clothing collection with Lane Bryant. Now, having established herself more in her modeling career, she is returning to her editorial roots, working as a broadcaster and host on Canadian programs like The Social, CityLine, and eTalk; building a soon-to-be released podcast on dismantling beauty standards; and engaging in philanthropic work with It Gets Better, supporting LGBTQ+ Youth across Canada and the U.S.
