Martha Stewart doesn’t ever think about age, but it did cross her mind when she learned that, at 81, she’d be the oldest model to ever land the cover of the SI Swimsuit Issue. 

The mother, grandmother, Emmy Award–winning television show host and founder of Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia, who has published nearly 100 books throughout her illustrious career, graces the cover of the 2023 SI Swimsuit Issue.

“Never in her life has she let her circumstances dictate her outcome,” editor in chief MJ Day says of the iconic lifestyle entrepreneur. “She’s changed with the times—always one step ahead, it seems—to build a wide-reaching business empire.”
