The Soori Bali was built by the internationally renowned architect Soo K. Chan. More than a luxury resort, the Soori is somewhat of a love story. Initially, it was built as a home for Soo K. Chan and his partner and was later expanded into a hotel. It has been open since 2008, and is the only resort in Bali with both the rice field view and the ocean.

In an effort to remain embedded in the community surrounding the hotel, they used local products for the construction, as well as source locally for the restaurants on the property.
