Brittany Mahomes Debuts Fiery Red Locks, and Fans Are Beyond Obsessed

The SI Swimsuit rookie and Kansas City Current co-owner almost broke the internet with her latest Instagram post.

Brittany Mahomes is going red for the new season. The 2024 SI Swimsuit rookie, who makes an appearance in next month’s 60th anniversary magazine, just blessed the internet with the most stunning new hairdo. She debuted her fiery long locks to her 1.9 million Instagram followers on Wednesday afternoon, and it’s safe to say fans are totally obsessed (as are we).

The 28-year-old, who traveled to Belize for her brand photo shoot with Derek Kettela, kept her outfit simple, and donned a black cropped bra top and sparkly diamond jewelry. She saved all the drama for her new copper-crimson locks, courtesy of hairstylist Laura Beth Cabott, who gave the Texas native her fresh new color, and left her hair in beautiful bombshell waves.

“Feeling spicy🔥🌶️🤭,” Mahomes captioned the carousel of photos—an appropriate choice of words, as she certainly turned the heat up on social media.

“I’ll let you miss a workout for this 😂,” fitness trainer Betina Gozo commented.

“Casually breaking the internet on a Wednesday afternoon… that last pic 😵🔥,” hair and makeup artist Bex Pichelmann added. “Ohhhh I love a redhead!!!”

“WOAH WOAH 🔥,” former Olympic gymnast Nastia Liukin chimed.

“Fabulous!❤️‍🔥Love you as a redhead!!😍,” former beauty pageant queen Tavia Hunt wrote.

The mom of two, who shares kids Sterling and Bronze with her NFL star quarterback husband, Patrick Mahomes, rocked a black bodysuit in another pic, and posed topless with a statement necklace and her hair in a perfect tousled messy bun in another.

Several Kansas City Chiefs fans chimed in to note that they loved how the KC Current co-owner was representing the team’s colors in a new and unique way.
