10 Stunning Photos of Jessica White’s Rainy Photo Shoot in the Philippines

A little precipitation didn’t stop the model from nailing her poses in 2011.

Model Jessica White made her SI Swimsuit debut in 2003 and appeared in a total of eight SI Swimsuit Issues. Her most recent photo shoot was in 2011 with photographer Raphael Mazzucco in the Philippines.

In addition to her work with SI Swimsuit, White has modeled for Victoria’s Secret and has collaborated with both Maybelline and CoverGirl. The now 38-year-old has also worked as an actress and served as a guest judge on America’s Next Top Model. Today, White continues to model and she frequently shares snippets from her life on Instagram.

While White’s previous SI Swimsuit features took her everywhere from Kenya to  to Croatia to Hawai’i to the Grenadines, her ’11 photo shoot was unique in that the weather didn’t cooperate—but she and Mazzucco ran with it all the same.

“Usually when I shoot in the rain, you automatically expect for the client to say, ‘O.K., go back to your room, we have to wait until the rain stops,’ but it rained all day yesterday,” she said of her time on location in the Philippines. “We didn’t know if it was gonna be a great day at all, but you know, everybody kinda just got into it and to have people who are experienced and they know what they’re doing and you get it and you say, ‘O.K., we have to make the best of what we have here.’ Every single shot that we did yesterday came out absolutely gorgeous and I’m completely obsessed with shooting in the rain.”

Below are 10 gorgeous photos captured during White’s rainy day photo shoot in the Philippines.
