Haitian-American model Saje Nicole made her SI Swimsuit debut as a Swim Search finalist in 2021. She moved to the U.S. at the age of 3 and looked up to models such as Tyra Banks and Heidi Klum from a young age. She was fascinated with how they exuded confidence through the pages of a magazine. Nicole attended one year of nursing school before deciding to drop out and follow her modeling dreams.

Once she got her foot in the door, the Lululemon model dedicated herself to increasing and advocating for diversity in the modeling industry. She starred in 2019’s Beach Bum alongside Matthew McConaughey and Snoop Dogg. She recently made her debut as a SKIMS model and was featured on Heidi Klum’s show, Making The Cut.

“I come from a Caribbean background, Haitian and Turks and Caicos, so we’re very spicy, very loud, very unapologetic,” she explained. “And so what makes me my most authentic self is always connecting to my roots. Especially in this industry, in this society, not letting other peoples opinions shape me.”
