8 Photos of the Beautiful and Inspiring Hailey Clauson in Australia

The seven-time SI Swimsuit model made an impression on the beaches of Kangaroo Island.

When Hailey Clauson set foot on the beach for her 2019 SI Swimsuit photoshoot in Kangaroo Island, Australia, the 28-year-old already had an extensive relationship with the brand. It was her fifth consecutive year posing for the magazine—a sort of experience that was obvious in her confidence and in the beautiful photos that she posed for during the trip.

It was around 40 degrees on the coast while photographer Josie Clough took photos of the incredible Clauson. But despite the cool temperatures, the model brought her absolute best to the island. She gave “everything [she] had left,” she said, both during the photoshoot and during the last pose of the day, particularly: a James Bond-inspired snap of her climbing an oceanside ladder in a neoprene bikini.

Since her 2019 appearance, the California native has been featured in the magazine twice more, in ’22 and ’23. But, in addition to her extensive SI Swimsuit experience, she has been making a name for herself on the creative direction side of the industry, as well. Recently, the 2016 cover star became the co-owner and creative director of Margaux the Agency, a modeling agency founded on a desire to shake up industry norms and make it more inclusive. In September, the model took the chance to speak with the SI Swimsuit team about her beginnings, her motivations and her future goals.

Clauson is a total changemaker in the industry, both on and off set. Here are a few of our favorite snapshots from her Australian trip.
