Olivia Ponton made her SI Swimsuit debut last year after being photographed by James Macari in Montenegro.

The Florida native is best known for her status as a social media superstar. She has more than 11 million combined followers on Instagram and TikTok, where Ponton frequently posts about everything from fashion and lifestyle to mental health and support for the LGBTQ+ community. Ponton is often refreshingly open with her social media following about her struggles as well as her successes.

In addition to SI Swimsuit, Ponton has worked with notable brands including Victoria’s Secret PINK, Ralph Lauren, Coach, Tory Burch and Marc Jacobs.

The 20-year-old model, who identifies as pansexual, told SI Swimsuit during Miami Swim Week last year that she hopes to be a positive role model for young girls.

“It means a lot to me because I am very hyper femme presenting, and I think for the younger girls that are 7 to 15, they’re kind of going through the same thing right now that I was going through, but I didn’t necessarily have anyone to talk to about it,” she shared

Below are eight of our favorite images captured at Ponton’s rookie photo shoot last year.
