Summer May Be Over, but Alex Aust Is Still Drinking in the Spanish Sun in a Vibrant Green Bikini

After months of pro lacrosse, the athlete is relaxing on an extended European tour.

For professional lacrosse player Alex Aust, summer only started in August. The athlete plays for the women’s professional lacrosse league, Athletes Unlimited Lacrosse. Since her season takes place through June and July, the prime beach-going months, the 2021 Swim Search finalist has spent the last few weeks making up for lost time under the sun. 

While it may be too cool for a beach trip across most of the country, Aust has found a vacation spot offering continued warm weather where she can wind down and maintain her summer tan. Following a stay in the Netherlands and a visit to Mallorca, she headed to Ibiza, Spain, for the latest leg of her European adventure. Her stop has included idyllic sunsets, city walks and time well-spent with friends and her husband, fellow pro lacrosse player Marcus Holman. But, most importantly, it has included time under the Spanish sun.

Aust donned a vibrant green bikini and a pair of chic aviators for an afternoon of sipping on cocktails poolside.

“Balearic Bliss ✨🪩🍒🕺🏻🌅🍣☀️Ibiza you stole my heart 9 years ago & you’ve done it again,” she wrote in the caption of recent Instagram post featuring trip highlights. “I refuse to go another decade without your magic 🫶🏽.”

We’re just as enamored with Aust’s trip as she seems to be. The early fall trip seems to be more than making up for the summer of lacrosse that kept her from relaxing days in the sun.
