Anastasia Ashley Takes on the Late Summer Waves in Cheeky One-Piece With Side Cut-Outs

The athlete recently surfed the simulated waves at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.

Summer is not quite over yet, and professional surfer Anastasia Ashley is taking advantage of the still-warm weather. The athlete has been enjoying the waves all summer, and she’s not stopping any time soon.

Her most recent adventure, which she highlighted in a short clip that she shared to her Instagram on Sept. 14, included an afternoon surf on the simulated waves at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park in Orlando, Fla. For a spin on the waves, the one-time SI Swimsuit model donned a cheeky pastel color block one-piece with side cut-outs. The long sleeve suit featured a chic front zipper characteristic of the best surfing garb.

“Wave pool at the happiest place on earth,” she captioned the short clip, which she posted to the tune of the song “Daylight” by David Kushner. In the video, the surfer performed some tricks on the simulated waves and smiled at the camera after finishing her practice.

The 36-year-old surfs on a regular basis, often posting videos from her daily practice to her Instagram and TikTok accounts. But, according to an answer she gave to a fan question on her IG story, keeping up her surfing skills has entailed working out in the gym and other kinds of training, besides just practicing on her board.

Since she became a professional surfer, Ashley has won several national titles and accolades along the way. And—if her social media posts are any indiction—she doesn’t seem to intend on stopping any time soon.
