Ashley Graham Radiates Tropical Vibes in These 5 Sizzling Photos From Fiji
Ashley Graham is a force of nature. She made history in 2016 when she was featured on the front of the SI Swimsuit Issue as a rookie, and became the first plus-size woman to land the coveted magazine cover. She was photographed in Turks and Caicos for her debut and traveled to Fiji and Nevis the following two years.
The supermodel, who was named Maxim’s Hot 100 cover star and “Sexiest Woman Alive” earlier this year, is a global ambassador for St. Tropez and Revlon and has been all over the world recently, nailing her fashion week looks from New York and London to Milan and Paris.
The mom of three, who shares her young sons Isaac, Roman and Malachi with husband Justin Ervin, has been creating waves in the modeling and fashion industries ever since she was scouted in the early 2000s at her hometown mall in Nebraska.
She uses her platform to advocate for size diversity and inclusion, and creates a safe, body-positive space for her following. Just like the 35-year-old’s Instagram bio reads, she truly is a “model, mogul, mama” and a multihyphenate.
“Being the first size 14 model in the pages of Sports Illustrated, that’s going to be huge. A woman my size, a woman that has been told that she was fat, not good enough, never going to be an editorial model, never going to be in the pages of Sports Illustrated. Now I’m proving everybody who ever told me that wrong,” she said at the time. “I think that’s just a statement for all the women out there who have felt ugly, who have felt fat, who have felt like they haven’t been represented. I’m representing them right now. It’s a huge encouragement to myself knowing that I’ve overcome so many different things and that these women can overcome it as well. I think that this is yet another huge stepping stone for, for women, my size to just be accepted as a normal average woman.”

Now through Nov. 1, 100% of SI Swimsuit’s portion of proceeds from cover prints purchased here will be donated to the Maui Strong Fund, which is helping to support the people and places of Maui affected by the recent wildfires.
