After six years with the magazine, the model is comfortable being her authentic self—but there’s still some silly memories she can recall.

Camille Kostek has been featured in the magazine every year since she co-won the Swim Search open casting call in 2018. The model landed the cover the following year and has posed on breathtaking beaches in countries across the world including Belize, Kangaroo Island, Australia, the Dominican Republic, Hollywood, Fla., and St. Croix. As a result, she’s had her fair share of goofy moments while on location.

The TV host loves to show off her silly side and tries to be her most authentic self, both on social media and while working on a modeling gig. During Miami Swim Week in July, we asked the 31-year-old to recall her “most embarrassing memory” with the brand.

“I don’t feel like I get embarrassed often, especially with the [SI Swimsuit] team,” the model, who traveled to the Dominican Republic again this year for her 2023 photoshoot with James Macari, said. “Most embarrassing... maybe it’d be embarrassing to somebody else, but when you’re on set, the wind blows, you’re wearing tiny bikinis, sometimes things fall off or fly [off] and show [more skin]. I didn’t feel embarrassed though. But maybe that would be embarrassing to somebody else. Everyone’s so professional on set.”

She added that another frequent moment of comedic relief can occur on set when she’s modeling in the water and a big wave creeps up.

“[It’s embarrassing] when you’re shooting and a big wave crashes and you’re trying to be like in the moment and be sexy and stuff and a wave just throws you over and pulls your hands out [from under you],” the former NFL cheerleader noted.
