Christen Harper Modeled Her Own Bikini Design in Dominica

The SI Swimsuit model rocked a two-piece by Elizabeth & Christen x B Swim for the 2023 issue.

Though 2023 was Christen Harper’s third consecutive year working with SI Swimsuit, it was extra special, as the 30-year-old model had the unique opportunity of posing in a bikini she designed. 

Harper first joined the SI Swimsuit family in 2021, when she participated in the Swim Search open casting call. After her photo shoot in Atlantic City with Yu Tsai resulted in co-Swim Search winner honors, she made her rookie debut in ’22. That year, Harper traveled to Barbados, where she posed for photographer Ben Watts (and earned co-Rookie of the Year honors). Her most recent brand appearance took place in Dominica, and Harper collaborated with visual artist Amanda Pratt for the opportunity. 

The styling on location in Dominica was inspired by futuristic fashion trends, and Harper certainly delivered by stunning in several gorgeous bikinis and bold one-piece styles. In fact, one of the looks the California native modeled on location was from Harper’s own collaboration, Elizabeth & Christen x B Swim.

“What an absolute DREAM come true!!!! not only being in the magazine for a second year but @si_swimsuit and @mj_day giving me the opportunity to wear my own designs in these iconic images 🥹,” Harper wrote on Instagram last May of her various professional pursuits culminating into one incredible opportunity. “@si_swimsuit is forever encouraging and uplifting women to go after their dreams and be the best version of themselves. This photo truly reminds me that anything is possible. Thank you endlessly ✨.”
