Christen Harper’s 6 Best SI Swimsuit Photos on the Breathtaking Beaches of Dominica

Christen Harper has enjoyed a fabulous year so far. After wrapping up 2022 with SI Swimsuit’s coveted co-Rookie of the Year title alongside fellow brand model Katie Austin, the Southern California native began this year with a fabulous outer space-inspired photoshoot with photographer Amanda Pratt in Dominica.

“The location was stunning. I had never even heard of Dominica [before my photo shoot]. It was just so jungly and green and lush and beautiful. It’s one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been,” she told SI Swimsuit. “And we got to go under a waterfall which was really cool. It kind of made the whole shoot a little more moody. Every year has its own magic that keeps it exciting and fresh.”

Harper also starred in Women of the League, a YouTube reality show, and designed a clothing line with B Swim founder Elizabeth Turner in March. The 30-year-old model, who got engaged to Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff last summer, had the exciting opportunity to wear one of her own swimsuits while on location in Dominica.

“We started [the collaboration] almost a year ago, probably right before last year’s issue came out. It’s just such a long process, and there’s so much time and effort and love that goes into it,” she shared. “So then to get the opportunity to wear it in the magazine is just like so insane. It was just a such a cool full-circle [moment]. I’ve worn a million bikinis in my life, but I’ve never worn my own.”

Harper and Turner just launched the waitlist for their upcoming app, Planted, a wellness platform with nutritious recipes, lifestyle tips and healthy living advice.
