DiDi Richards Flaunts Toned Abs, Celebrates the Holidays Under Australian Sun

The professional basketball player made the most of her warm-weather Christmas celebrations.

Professional basketball player DiDi Richards is living the Christmas in paradise experience that we’ve always dreamed of. The American athlete spent her holiday in Australia, where she is currently playing professional basketball.

The former NBA player began her career with the Sydney Flames in the fall, just as the weather down under was heating up. Now, while we’re certainly in the throes of winter weather here in the U.S., Richards is making the most of summer in the stunning country. Her holiday outfit, rather than involving pants or tights and a jacket, featured a pair of light wash denim shorts and an ab-baring cropped white top. She paired her summer clothing with colorful Nikes and a black corduroy ball cap.

The 24-year-old stepped out onto the streets of Sydney for a Christmas weekend spent under the warm Australian sun. Her holiday festivities included a sight-seeing ferry ride around Sydney Harbour and a photoshoot in front of the stunning holiday decor—including, of course, a massive tree in the city square.

“christmas looking a little different this year 🥹,” she wrote in the caption of an Instagram post from the weekend. “merry christmas 🫶🏾.”

“Nothing like a warm Aussie Christmas at the beach!” one of her followers reflected—and, we have to admit, we agree wholeheartedly.

“SUMMER CHRISTMAS SUITS YOU! 😍❤️,” another gushed.

Richards might be convincing us that a warm-weather holiday season is just what we need. Let the plans for next year commence!
