Emily DiDonato Speaks about Honesty & Transparency on her Social Platforms

Emily DiDonato is an SI Swimsuit veteran. She made her debut in 2013 and was featured in the magazine for four consecutive years. The 31-year-old returned again to model for the 2020 and ’21 issues.

DiDonato gave birth to a daughter, whom she shares with husband Kyle Peterson, in November 2021. The couple is currently expecting their second baby.

Despite being in the modeling industry for years, and being featured in various campaigns and magazines, DiDonato’s self-love journey hasn’t always been perfect. She admitted that only in the past few years has she begun to shut out the insecure voices in her head and appreciate and admire her ever-changing body.

“There are these standards that are kind of put on us to look a certain way,” DiDonato said last year. “I know that it’s so hard to not let them consume you and hard not to think about them all the time, but they take up so much mental and emotional space and just keep you down. If you allow yourself to free up that space, you'll find out how much you're capable of.”

She launched her skincare brand, Covey, in 2021 alongside her BFF and Google executive Christina Uribe with the goal of creating a simple routine that works for all skin types.
