Fellow SI Swim Models React to Katie Austin’s ‘Women’s Health’ Cover

SI Swimsuit model Katie Austin and her mother, Denise Austin, landed the cover of Women’s Health’s January/February 2024 issue, the publication announced on Instagram on Dec. 27. And it appears that no one is more excited for the powerhouse mother-daughter fitness influencer duo than Austin’s friends and fellow SI Swimsuit models.

We love to see women supporting women, and as soon as the news hit the feeds of Austin’s 408,000 followers, the comments section of the cover photo (captured by Kimber Capriotti) was flooded with words of encouragement for both Denise, 66, and Katie, 30.

“So incredible wowowowwwwww what a duo, how incredible to be able to do this with your mama @katieaustin 🥹,” rookie Melissa Wood-Tepperberg gushed.

“This is the best!!!! 😭👏🏼🥹,” 2021 Rookie of the Year Katrina Scott applauded.

“OH MY GOSH LADIES,” SI Swimsuit cover girl Brooks Nader exclaimed. “😍😍😍😍😍😍😍 INSANE.”

Meanwhile, others shared the cover photo to their Instagram story along with sweet commentary.

“Screaming crying throwing up!!!!!!!!!!” three-time brand star Christen Harper exclaimed. “My best friend is on the cover of WOMEN’S HEALTH!!! @katieaustin @deniseaustin You go girls!!!!”

Both Austin women also chimed in to the comments section to share their gratitude.

“So INCREDIBLY FULFILLING to be featured on this cover with my DAUGHTER, Katie..THANK you Women’s Health,” Denise wrote. “BEYOND PROUD and so HAPPY!!!!! Love you all … xoxo.”
