Hailey Clauson Brings the Heat in These 6 SI Swim Pics in Finland

The model was unbothered by freezing cold temperatures during her 2017 magazine feature.

Hailey Clauson was photographed by Walter Chin in Finland.

Seven-time SI Swimsuit model Hailey Clauson made her debut with the magazine in 2015, after participating in a beautiful photoshoot in Hawai’i and a secondary bodypaint feature. The California native landed the cover of the magazine the following year, when she posed in Turks and Caicos.

In ’17, Clauson again double-dipped for two features in one year, this time traveling to both Finland and Sumba Island, Indonesia. The 28-year-old has since posed for the annual issue in the Bahamas, Australia, Barbados and the Dominican Republic

In addition to her work in front of the lens, Clauson also works behind the scenes in the modeling industry. Today, she serves as creative director and co-owner of Margaux the Agency, a boutique agency based in Los Angeles. And while the majority of her SI Swimsuit features have taken place on the beach, her photoshoot in Finland required Clauson to adapt to a much chillier atmosphere.

“We started at 5 a.m., also shooting at nighttime,” she told Harper’s Bazaar of the photoshoot. “It was 10 degrees, freezing. It was insane. You’re in the middle of the forest where the snow is already 10 feet, and it’s still snowing. It’s better to try your best to look warm because you want to get the shot so you can go inside and be warm.”

Despite the weather, Clauson was down for anything and even posed on horseback in nothing but bikini bottoms. Below are a few of our favorite pics from the incredible photoshoot.
