Jasmine Sanders Is a Vision in These 9 Photos From Belize

The five-time SI Swimsuit model stunned among the palms in her photoshoot last year.

Jasmine Sanders has an impressive resume. Since she began modeling at the age of 13, the SI Swimsuit star has participated in notable campaigns with brands like Nike and Victoria’s Secret. In 2019, she made her debut with SI Swimsuit, accompanying photographer James Macari to Costa Rica for her rookie photoshoot. 

Since being named Rookie of the Year, the model has returned to the issue each year, including earning a spot on the magazine’s cover in Bali in 2020. Last year, Sanders made her way to Belize for her fourth feature with the brand. 

The model was excited for the opportunity to pose in the tropical destination, and was particularly thrilled to have photographer Yu Tsai by her side. “I am so excited to be here in Belize. ... It’s gonna be incredible,” she told the SI Swimsuit team while on the set in the Caribbean. She noted that photographer Yu Tsai “really helps you with movements and everything on set, so I’m in good hands.”

Yu Tsai shared the model’s enthusiasm about the opportunity to work together. The seasoned SI Swimsuit photographer had worked with Sanders in 2020 and ’21 before linking back up with her for the ’22 photoshoot in Belize. “Jasmine [is] one of my favorite, favorite girls to work with,” he said of the 32-year-old model. “[She’s known as the] Golden Barbie and that’s exactly what she is—we made her golden. She looks so amazing.”
