Kate Bock’s 6 Most Outstanding Monochromatic Bikinis From Bali
Since her magazine debut in 2013, Kate Bock has posed for 10 different SI Swimsuit Issues over the years. While her most recent brand photo shoot took place in Belize in ’22, arguably one of her most unforgettable appearances was her 2020 feature in Bali with photographer Yu Tsai, which earned her the cover of the publication.
As she celebrated a decade with the publication in 2022, it was the perfect opportunity for the 36-year-old Canadian model to reflect on her personal growth with the brand over the years.
“I’ve gotten all these opportunities to really learn and grow with Sports Illustrated,” Bock stated at the time. “I started coming to shoots with mood boards. I think it helped me kind of hone in on my creativity because every year is a little bit different based on the location, the photographer or just the weather and the vibe that we have, the swimsuits. It allowed my creativity and understanding of this industry to really flourish. I think every year I become more comfortable with myself and with my body. And they also know me so much better. I’m more comfortable asking questions. I now get to use what I’ve learned in so many other projects.”
Looking back at her SI Swimsuit Issue photo shoot in 2020, it’s no wonder that Bock landed on the cover of that year’s publication. For the occasion, she donned several monochromatic swimsuits in both black and white that really allowed her natural beauty and that of her surroundings to shine. Below are just a few of our favorites.
