Lindsey Vonn Proves Knee Surgery Can’t Stop Her, Climbs Red Rocks of Lake Powell in Chic Red Bikini

The former professional skier is as daring as ever following her recent operation.

Former professional alpine ski racer Lindsey Vonn’s trip to Lake Powell in the western canyons is proof that the Olympian just can’t stay away from thrill-seeking activity. Though she’s currently recovering from another surgery to her right knee that she underwent at the end of July, the athlete seems as active as ever.

On her recent trip out West, the SI Swim model partook in a handful of outdoor activities, from jet-skiing to foil surfing. But her most recent Instagram post highlighted an even more daring activity for the recovering athlete. In the video, Vonn donned a cute red bikini as she climbed out of the lake and up the surrounding rocks with the help of a rope. At the top, she turned around and jumped back into the water.

“Went to Lake Powell for 2 days and packed enough adventure to last 2 weeks on Instagram 🤣 Never stop climbing guys!! #yolo #keepclimbing,” she captioned the short clip, which she aptly set to the tune of the Marty Robbins song, “You Gotta Climb.”

“Lindsey’s rehabbing her knee right now,” the video recorder joked as she made it to the top of her perch and turned around to jump into the water.

“New knee who dis!!?” SI Swimsuit editor in chief MJ Day quipped in the comment section of the post. Vonn is certainly flexing her newly fixed knee and, possibly, testing its limits. One thing is clear from the legendary athlete’s trip: She simply can’t be kept from daring outdoor activity.
