Marquita Pring Made the Best Impression During Her SI Swim Debut in Wyoming

The four-time brand model kicked off her rookie year in a big way.

Marquita Pring has now posed for the SI Swimsuit Issue for the past four years running. Her stint began back in 2020, when she traveled to Saratoga, Wyo., with photographer Ruven Afanador and the rest of the magazine team.

Her rookie feature was a big one, too. She posed in a series of warm-toned bikinis for stunning photos in the natural landscape of southern Wyoming.

It was a career opportunity that the model was ecstatic about, and she made as much known in an Instagram post at the time. “Big BIG NEWS,” Pring wrote in the caption. “IM A SPORTS ILLUSTRATED SWIMSUIT ROOKIE 2020. These past two days have been a dream come true! I’m beyond grateful... thank you @mj_day and the entire @si_swimsuit Crew for this opportunity and giving me the absolute pleasure to shoot with @ruvenafanador - this experience is something I will NEVER forget.”

As we mentioned, it was an incredible debut, and one that earned her three more features in the magazine in the years following her first. Her time with SI Swimsuit has since brought her to the likes of Sacramento, Calif., Barbados and Puerto Rico.

We could never choose a favorite from among her four features, but we can say with certainty that Pring’s first really kicked off her relationship with the brand in the best way—it was that good. Here are a few of our favorite photos from her trip out west, captured by Afanador.
