Four-time SI Swimsuit model Marquita Pring made her SI Swimsuit debut in 2020, when the New York native traveled to Wyoming for an outdoorsy photoshoot full of western-inspired swimwear.

She’s returned to the fold each year since, and has ventured to more traditional beachfront locations for each of her subsequent features with the magazine. Pring has posed for the annual issue in Sacramento, Calif., Barbados, and most recently, Puerto Rico.

In addition to her work with SI Swimsuit, Pring has also modeled for Levi’s and L’Oréal, and was featured in Vogue Italia alongside Candice Huffine, Robyn Lawley and Tara Lynn in 2011.

When she returned to the fold for her sophomore brand feature, Pring was 30-years-old and expressed how good it felt to reach the milestone. She also discussed insecurities from her teenage years and how she grew into self-acceptance through her career.

“I think my journey into self-acceptance and body acceptance definitely happened when I started modeling, 100,000%,” Pring stated at the time. “Growing up, I never had anyone to relate to, it wasn’t even in magazines or ads, the plus-size revolution did not exist like it does now... So once I started modeling and learned from the very start that I didn’t have to be skinny, that’s when I started accepting and stepping into myself.”

Pring’s confidence shines through in all of her work, and below are a few of our favorite snaps from her rookie feature in Wyoming from three years ago.
