LSU gymnast Olivia Dunne put a hold on her athletic superpowers and sat on the sidelines for one evening as she enjoyed an NHL game against the New Jersey Devils and Detroit Red Wings at the Prudential Center on Dec. 23.

The Devils, Dunne’s hometown team, won by a score of 3-2, and the 21-year-old sure was cheering them on, despite not fully knowing all the rules. The SI Swimsuit model, who was photographed in Puerto Rico for the 2023 magazine and in Portugal for next year’s 60th anniversary issue, shared the most adorable Instagram post recapping her look for the night, as well as a very special Jumbotron cameo.

The NCAA star, who is the highest-paid female college athlete in the country, went for a festive and comfortable ensemble with a bright red cropped cozy turtleneck. She paired the top with black straight-leg leather pants, and her blonde locks were loose and naturally tousled underneath a black Prada beanie.

In the pics, Dunne smiled bright for her photographer. She lifted her arm up in excitement with her mouth open and eyes glistening in the second snap, and was captured from behind. The final slide was a photo of the big screen at the game, where Dunne made a quick appearance and smiled and waved at the audience.

“Put me in coach,” the social media star, who has racked up a following of 4.6 million on Instagram, and 7.8 million on TikTok, captioned the Dec. 27 carousel.

“HOCKEY GAL,” Megan Patricia commented.

“SLAY,” Lexi Zeiss added.

“She was born to be on the Jumbotron,” one fan chimed.
