Padma Lakshmi posed for the 2023 SI Swimsuit Issue in Dominica, where the mom, model, entrepreneur and best-selling author worked with photographer Yu Tsai.

Going for gold with her feature, Lakshmi absolutely shined bright in a vibrant look by Ola Vida. The beaded bikini brought out the natural beauty of the island.

Although Lakshmi makes her first appearance in this year’s SI Swimsuit Issue, she is no rookie when it comes to being the spotlight. Lakshmi began her career as a model and actress but has since become a household name as a TV personality and author. She serves as host and executive producer of the Emmy-Award winning series Top Chef and Hulu’s Taste the Nation. Lakshmi is a New York Times best-selling author, having written a children’s book, a memoir and several cookbooks. She is also an activist and works closely with a number of organizations, including the United Nations Development Programme, EndoFound and the ACLU.
