The 2023 Swimsuit Issue has finally arrived, and the magazine’s pages are packed with 28 incredible women—all of whom were selected not only for their inner and outer beauty, but also for the ways in which they use their voices and platforms for good. Let’s meet them all!
Martha Stewart
Stewart really needs no introduction. The Emmy Award-winning television show host and founder of Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia becomes the oldest cover model in SI Swimsuit history at 81 after being photographed by Ruven Afanador in the Dominican Republic.

Megan Fox
Fox may be known as a Hollywood star, but the mom of three hopes the images Greg Swales captured of her in the Dominican Republic for one of four 2023 SI Swimsuit Issue covers allow people to uncover her deep and thoughtful side.

Kim Petras
The German-born pop star made history earlier this year as the first transgender woman to win a Grammy Award for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance, for her track “Unholy” with Sam Smith. Now, the “Coconuts” singer graces one of four 2023 SI Swimsuit Issue covers after posing for Yu Tsai in Los Angeles.

Brooks Nader
The winner of 2019’s Swim Search open casting call, Nader has been part of the SI Swimsuit family for the past five years. She graces one of the 2023 SI Swimsuit Issue covers after traveling to the Dominican Republic, where she worked with photographer James Macari.

Olivia Ponton
The TikTok star returns to the fold after her rookie appearance in ’22. Ponton, who uses her platform to inspire the LGBTQ+ community, has also worked with notable brands like Victoria’s Secret PINK, American Eagle and Frankies Bikinis. She worked with photographer Amanda Pratt in Dominica for her 2023 SI Swimsuit photo shoot.

Christen Harper
Last year’s co-Rookie of the Year is back for her third consecutive appearance in the publication. The Southern California native uses her platforms to promote body positivity and self-love. She traveled to Dominica with photographer Amanda Pratt for her 2023 SI Swimsuit photo shoot.

Yumi Nu
The model and musician landed one of four covers of the SI Swimsuit Issue last May. A month prior, she made history as the first plus-size model to be featured on the cover of Vogue Japan. For the 2023 SI Swimsuit Issue, Nu posed for photographer Amanda Pratt in Dominica.

Leyna Bloom
Returning to the publication for her third year in a row, Bloom made history when she was the first transgender woman to land the SI Swimsuit Issue cover in 2021. The Chicago native is also an actress and dancer. She was photographed for the 2023 SI Swimsuit Issue in Dominica by Amanda Pratt.

Melissa Wood-Tepperberg
A 2023 rookie, the workout and wellness leader is the founder of Melissa Wood Health, an app that aims to make fitness content attainable and available for all. The mom of two was photographed in Dominica by Yu Tsai for this year’s magazine.

Padma Lakshmi
A TV personality and best-selling author, Lakshmi is best known for her work as host and executive producer of Bravo’s Emmy Award–winning series Top Chef, as well as creator, host and EP of Hulu’s Taste the Nation. The mom, actress and former model posed for photographer Yu Tsai in Dominica for the 2023 SI Swimsuit Issue.

Sixtine
A body neutrality advocate, Sixtine uses her platforms to encourage her followers to embrace their bodies in all forms, regardless of shape or size. The model has also worked with Aerie, SKIMS and Ulta. She traveled to Dominica to work with Yu Tsai for her rookie appearance with SI Swimsuit.

Nicole Williams English
The model, designer and new mom previously starred on the hit E! reality TV series WAGS. For her rookie appearance with SI Swimsuit, Williams English was photographed while seven months pregnant in Dominica by photographer Yu Tsai. She’s only the second model to be featured in the magazine while visibly pregnant (Katrina Scott was the first, in 2022).

Kamie Crawford
A television host and former Miss Teen USA, Crawford returns to the publication for her second year with SI Swimsuit. The mental health advocate traveled to Dominica with photographer Yu Tsai for her 2023 photo shoot.

Georgina Burke
After her rookie feature last year, the Australian model returns to the 2023 SI Swimsuit Issue. Burke, who has worked with Saks Fifth Avenue, J.Crew and Bloomingdale’s, is also an entrepreneur: she’s the founder of Burke NYC, a line of size-inclusive swimwear. She was photographed by Ben Watts in Puerto Rico for this year’s magazine.

Jasmine Sanders
The German-born model made her SI Swimsuit debut in 2019 and was named Rookie of the Year. She landed the cover of the magazine the following year. Sanders, who has also worked with Victoria’s Secret, DKNY and Free People, was photographed in Puerto Rico by Ben Watts for this year’s edition.

Marquita Pring
The New York native returns for her fourth consecutive year with the SI Swimsuit franchise. Pring has walked the runway at Paris Fashion Week and was featured in a Vogue Italia cover story. She worked with Ben Watts in Puerto Rice for the 2023 SI Swimsuit Issue.

Lorena Durán
The Seville, Spain, native, who was the first curve model to work with Victoria’s Secret, returns to the SI Swimsuit Issue for her third appearance. She traveled to Puerto Rico, where she posed for Ben Watts for this year’s issue.

Olivia Dunne
A junior on the LSU gymnastics team, Dunne is the highest-paid female college athlete in the country today. The social media star uses her platform to bring positive attention to her sport and provides an inside look at life as a student athlete. Mady Dewey
The winner of last year’s Swim Search open casting call, Dewey returns to the fold for her rookie year. The entrepreneur is the founder of a metrics-free social media app called Herd, and encourages women to pursue careers in tech. She was photographed by Ben Watts in Puerto Rico for the 2023 SI Swimsuit Issue.

Duckie Thot
The South Sudanese model returns to the publication after her rookie feature last year. Thot has worked with Yeezy, Victoria’s Secret and Fenty Beauty, and was previously a contestant on Australia’s Next Top Model. She was photographed in Puerto Rico by Derek Kettela for the 2023 SI Swimsuit Issue.

Jennifer Atilémile
An Australian-French model, Atilémile has worked with notable brands such as MERIT, Maybelline and Clarins. She also became Victoria’s Secret’s first Australian curve model in 2020. Atilémile joins the SI Swimsuit family as a rookie this year, and traveled to Puerto Rico for her feature with Derek Kettela.

Ellie Thumann
A YouTuber, Thumann is best known for the beauty, lifestyle and fashion content she shares on her video blog. The Phoenix native and mental health advocate has worked with brands like Kate Spade, Reebok and Levi’s. She posed for photographer Derek Kettela for her rookie SI Swimsuit feature in Puerto Rico.

Katie Austin
Last year’s co-Rookie of the Year returns to the SI Swimsuit Issue for her third consecutive appearance with the franchise. The certified fitness trainer, health coach and entrepreneur was also the the co-winner of the 2021 Swim Search open casting call competition. For the 2023 edition, she traveled to the Dominican Republic, where she was photographed by James Macari.

Camille Kostek
The 2019 SI Swimsuit Issue cover star is back for her sixth year in a row with the franchise. In addition to her work in the modeling industry, the former New England Patriots cheerleader is a seasoned TV host and is a swimwear and jewelry designer. James Macari photographed Kostek for the 2023 SI Swimsuit Issue in the Dominican Republic.

Hailey Clauson
The Southern California native landed the cover of the SI Swimsuit Issue in 2016, the year after her rookie feature. Clauson is the co-owner and creative director of the Los Angeles–based Margaux Agency, which also represents her for her modeling work. She posed for James Macari in the Dominican Republic for this year’s annual magazine.

Lauren Chan
No stranger to the modeling industry, Chan has also worked as a fashion writer and editor. The Toronto native is a former fashion features editor at Glamour and the founder and CEO of luxury womenswear brand, Henning, which was recently acquired by Universal Standard. Chan traveled to the Dominican Republic with James Macari for her rookie feature in the 2023 SI Swimsuit Issue.

Madisin Rian
Throughout her 15 years in the industry, Rian has worked with Polo Ralph Lauren, Donna Karan and Stuart Weitzman, among other notable brands. Five years ago, she became the face of Giorgio Armani Beauty. Rian traveled to the Dominican Republic, where she modeled for James Macari for her rookie year with SI Swimsuit.

Angel Reese
A junior forward on the LSU basketball team, Reese led the Tigers to the school’s first NCAA women’s basketball championship in April. She was also named the Most Outstanding Player of the Final Four. The Bayou Barbie posed for photographer Yu Tsai in Los Angeles for the 2023 SI Swimsuit Issue.
