SI Swim Model Haley Kalil and Billie Eilish Gush About Each Other’s ‘Hot’ Golden Globes Looks
Haley Kalil and Billie Eilish shared the sweetest girl power moment at the Golden Globes on Jan. 7. The four-time SI Swimsuit model and singer, who was honored for her Barbie soundtrack hit “What Was I Made For,” gushed about each other’s glamorous event looks.
The Swim Search alum, who was in charge of creating social media content for the Los Angeles award ceremony, ran into the 22-year-old at some point in the night and Kalil had to stopped her in her tracks to note how big a fan she was of the artist.
“Billie, can I just say I am literally obsessed with you,” the influencer chimed.
Oh thanks baby,” the seven-time Grammy Award-winner responded immediately, and did a double-take. “You look hot as balls.”
“You look hot as balls,” the 31-year-old repeated and fired back with a huge smile, and added “I love her,” after Eilish walked away.
“Congratulations @billieeilish! She’s a GIRL’S GIRL 🫶🏻 truly one of the dope at people I had to honor of running into! @goldenglobes ❤️ #goldenglobes,” Kalil captioned an adorable and viral video of the interaction on Instagram.
“I’m living for these encounters hahah,” fellow SI Swim model Summer Wilson commented.
Eilish gave the most heartfelt acceptance speech upon receiving her best original song award on Sunday night.
“Thank you so much to the Golden Globes. I was not expecting this in this moment,” she said as she stood alongside her brother and co-writer Finneas O’Connell. “Thank you to my brother Finneas, you are the reason I am who I am. I want to thank Greta and Noah for making this incredible film. I want to thank Margot for being [the] Margot that we know and love. I want to thank Mattel and Interscope, my label, and dark room, and my incredible team, Chelsea and Michelle, and my managers and my mom and my dad and my brother again. You know, it was exactly a year ago almost that we were shown the movie and I was very, very miserable and depressed at the time. Writing that song kind of saved me a little bit, and a year later here we are, and it’s really surreal. I feel incredibly incredibly lucky and grateful and you guys scare the living hell out of me, everyone in this room, but thank you so much. This means the world.”
