SI Swim Models Christen Harper, Katie Austin, Camille Kostek and More Win This Viral TikTok Trend
TikTok’s latest chatty trend has taken the world by storm, and SI Swimsuit models won’t be left behind. Cover girl Brooks Nader, ’22 co-Rookies of the Year Christen Harper and Katie Austin, ’19 cover star Camille Kostek and Swim Search co-winner Jena Sims all gathered at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Fla., on Thursday, Dec. 7 for a sports betting launch party.
Former cover model Jasmine Sanders and rookie Nicole Williams English were also in attendance and, just like the other women, stunned on the star-studded red carpet.
Fitness influencer Austin took to Instagram to share her version of the latest ”we’re...so...” trend, where people take their title or relationship status and state obvious, hilarious or quirky things they do as a result.
For example, “We work in wellness... so obviously we have a sauna [in the office] for when we feel like we need to take a little mental break,” rookie Melissa Wood- Tepperberg said in her own video recreating the trend.
Nader began the hilarious SI Swimsuit model-filled clip.
“We’re SI Swimsuit models, of course I’m going to tell you I was on the 2023 cover every five seconds,” Nader, who was photographed by James Macari in the Dominican Republic, said.
“We’re SI Swimsuit models, of course we’re going to complain we can’t go to the bathroom on shoot day,” Austin added.
“We’re SI Swimsuit models...we’re gonna be 45 minutes late,” Harper continued.
“We’re SI Swimsuit models... we don’t wear bikinis, we wear sweats all day,” six-time brand star Kostek said.
“We’re SI Swim models, of course I packed a swimsuit,” Sims exclaimed.
“We’re SI Swimsuit models, of course we’re going to use that to try and cut the line,” Austin finished.
Tons of fellow models and fans chimed in to the comments of Austin’s post to applaud the video and note how clever and funny it was.
“this one is goooooddddd lmao,” 2022 Swim Search finalist Joely Live wrote.
“Iconic 😂,” DIBS Beauty cofounder Courtney Shields stated.
We personally think the women absolutely nailed the trend. The video was so good that the trend should be named “we’re SI Swimsuit models,” but we’re also a little biased.
