Swimsuit Island kicked off with a private VIP brunch held for SI Swimsuit models in a poolside cabana. The event celebrated the release of the Electric Picks x SI Swimsuit jewelry collaboration and allowed the models, staff and VIP guests to mingle before the main event began.

The daytime event, which was held poolside from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Hard Rock Hollywood Pool, was ticketed and open to the public, where fans were able to chat with their favorite franchise models and get their copies of the 2023 SI Swimsuit Issue autographed. Rookies Madisin Rian, Nicole Williams English and Ellie Thumann, as well as cover girl Brooks Nader and franchise favorites Camille Kostek and Lorena Durán mingled and posed for photos.

In addition to meet and greets, there were tons of fun activities and poolside activations. Guests were able to take advantage of various glam services at the official Beauty Bar, and Dibs Beauty, Sunflow, Norvell, Completely Bare and Mystic Tan were just a few brands on deck.

Completely Bare provided hair removal product samples, while Norvell and Mystic Tan provided guests with custom-colored spray tan options for achieving that beachy, bronzed glow just in time for summer. Guests also enjoyed a complimentary nail bar and hairstyling station.

The SI Swimsuit team hosted the weekend’s second Amazon Live event, in which fashion editor Margot Zamet provided a tour of the SI Swimsuit Dream closet. The editor’s rack was packed with the hottest fashion and beauty items for the summer, including swimsuits, cover-ups, jewelry and sunglasses.
